Are you working all day, hitting the gym at night and trying to socialise when you have the spare time? Life can sometimes get tiring. If you are feeling worn down then it is time to put down that energy drink and start doing something about it. Energy drinks will only last for so long until you are back to reality. Work Out

Morning and midday are the best times to work out. After your work our you will feel more energised instead of tired. If you are tempted tp turn lunch break into nap break, this is a sign that you should be hitting the gym instead of a nap pod. Recent Studies have also suggested that working out can actually increase productivity. By going to the gym you may also feel healthier. If you have no membership, no worries, grab your trainers and hit the streets.  Just 20 minutes outdoors is enough to feel more alive.

 Power nap

Powering napping should be the last resort. If you are tired post work then a quick power nap could help you get through a list of nighttime chores.  Napping can be good for us when it is done in moderation, studies show the optimal amount of sleep is 10 to 20 minutes to get through the day without throwing off the night’s sleep. Sleep is incredibly important as not getting enough sleep can also cause us to eat when we’re not actually hungry.



Go Coco

A small amount of chocolate can make a huge difference when it comes to your energy levels. Chocolate has caffeine inside of it, however, that’s not the only reason it offers a quick pick-me-up. It is the flavonoids found in cocoa have been shown to boost cognitive skills and improve mood. Just remember to eat a little and not a lot.

A balanced diet will make a huge difference to your energy levels and without fuel your body will fail to function. If you are not eating throughout the day you will notice that your energy and mood will feel the effects. Make sure that you are eating healthy meals and snacks


What would we do without this stuff.  One cup of coffee can make a world of difference to your productivity. The main tip with coffee is not to overdo it as it can make us crash, leaving us feeling worse than we did before. Studies have found that a single cup of coffee was enough to keep sleepy drivers on a long haul more alert at the wheel.



Make yourself a pot of pasta! A study has found that a meal of complex carbs made subjects feel more energised. Studies have also found low-carb dieters to be moodier than those who do eat carbs.
